A FAREWELL TO LOST IN SPACE, HELLO LAND OF THE GIANTS
In October 1989, we held our first party (with the first of many Irwin Allen themed cakes) to commiserate the end of the long awaited broadcast of Lost in Space. As the end credits rolled, there were many tears, and then all of a sudden, screams of delight as a trailer was shown for Land of the Giants! We couldn't believe that Land of the Giants was finally coming back to our screens after two decades. This was the catalyst that lead to us establishing Giants Log.
This website is a tribute to Irwin Allen, the performers, the production crews, and the studios who made the television shows and movies a reality. It is also a tribute to all the people who help to keep these productions alive for future generations.
