GIANT CAMERA PROP FROM FRAMED
We love the above postcard of the giant camera prop from the Land of the Giants episode Framed sitting in Prop Plaza at Universal Studios in 1970. The prop was a visitor attraction at Universal Studios until at least 1990.
HERITAGE AUCTIONS - THE GREG JEIN COLLECTION 14-15 OCT 2023
2023 has brought us some amazing auctions featuring major Irwin Allen props and collectibles, and the 14-15 October 2023 Heritage Auction continued that theme. The Greg Jein Collection Hollywood Platinum SignatureŽ Auction #7278 included two uniform costumes from Land of the Giants.
SPINDRIFT MINIATURE PROP - JULIEN'S AUCTIONS
A very special lot went up for auction at Julien's Auctions on 6th September 2023 and that was the original "hero" Spindrift Miniature Prop from Land of the Giants which many of you may have seen on display at the Seattle Science Fiction Museum. This beautiful miniature prop sold for $45,500 including the Buyer's Premium.

HERITAGE AUCTIONS - THE IRWIN ALLEN COLLECTION 29 JULY 2023
July 2023 brought us an amazing, once-in-a-lifetime, opportunity to bid on a vast collection of original Irwin Allen props, paintings, drawings, and collectibles. The Heritage Auctions - Irwin Allen Collection auction took place in session 5 of the 3 day Hollywood/Entertainment SignatureŽ Auction #7351 from 27 to 29 July 2023.

INFINITY #63 JULY 2023 - HEATHER YOUNG INTERVIEW
The July 2023 issue of Infinity (#63) sci-fi magazine features a six page interview with Land of the Giants star Heather Young in conversation with Karen Myatt. It also features a 2 page Land of the Giants poster. Available in magazine stores and also from the Infinity website.
HERITAGE AUCTIONS 2-4 JUNE 2023
An exciting range of costumes and props from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, Lost in Space, and Land of the Giants went up for auction at the The Comisar Collection Platinum Signature Auction on 2-4 June 2023. These items included crew costumes from both Voyage and Giants and the giant screwdriver and Flying Sub miniature props. The Irwin Allen related item which sold for the highest price was the Flying Sub miniature (sold for $100,000 including the 25% buyer's premium).

Land of the Giants 50th Anniversary Soundtrack Collection
Available to order from Tuesday 27th November 2018 (at 12 noon PST) is the new limited edition soundtrack CD set from La-La Land Records, Synthesis Entertainment, 20th Century Fox, Fox Music and Legendary Pictures celebrating the 50th Anniversary of Irwin Allen's Land of the Giants. This exciting collection runs to over 5 hours. La-La Land Records hope to have the set in stock by 8th December. VALERIE IN GIANTLAND
Deanna Lund's fan organisation Friends of Deanna Lund has just updated her 1992 novel Valerie in Giantland: Valerie Ames Scott's Diary as part of the 50th Anniversary Celebration of Land of the Giants. The revised book features a new colour cover and an epilogue chapter. Copies are available through Friends of Deanna Lund at signings and through Amazon (#ad).
16" SCRATCH BUILT SPINDRIFT MODEL
Mark Dorais has scratch built a new Spindrift model, this time a little over 16 inches long and made of cast resin, styrene plastic, metal and a vacuum formed dome.

TOUR OF THE SPINDRIFT
Kyle Allen brings us a unique and fun tour of the Land of the Giants sub-orbital spaceship, The Spindrift, in Back Lot Space Port Episode 1 "Spindrift". The Spindrift tour can also be viewed in the Land of the Giants media section.
LAND OF THE GIANTS - THE COMPLETE COLLECTION
The Land of the Giants complete collection DVD set for the UK (PAL, Region 2) with both seasons and a new limited edition set of four collectible art cards is now available in many DVD and online stores. The set was released on Monday 5th March 2012.

The cast of "Land of the Giants" attended The Hollywood Show Vegas autograph show on Saturday 19th November 2011. Attending the autograph show were series stars Gary Conway, Deanna Lund, Don Marshall, Don Matheson, Heather Young, and Stefan Arngrim, as well as guest stars Celeste Yarnall and Bruce Dern.

LAND OF THE GIANTS COMMENTARY
On Friday 8th April 2011, the cast of Land of the Giants gathered together in LA to create a very special treat exclusively for the UK Second Season DVD release. Stefan Arngrim, Don Marshall, Deanna Lund, Gary Conway, Heather Young and Don Matheson recorded a really outstanding audio commentary which appears on the second season DVD extras. This unique event showcases the delightful camaraderie between the cast members.

Cast members from Land of the Giants (Deanna Lund, Heather Young, Gary Conway, and Don Marshall) and Dennis Cole (Cave In!) attended the 17-19 April 2009 Chiller Theatre convention in New Jersey.
