FRANCINE YORK

Cannot believe we lost dear Francine York on 6th January 2017, a special guest in so many Irwin Allen productions. She was such a delight to spend time with. Below we take you down an Irwin Allen memory lane of some of Francine's appearances.

2012 MESSAGE FROM FRANCINE YORK

Hi to you all in my favorite country. I hope to visit you in the very near future - my biggest joy is studying English history. I even played Lily Langtry the famous English actress, mistress to Edward V11. I feel like when I see the actual places and paintings of the Kings that I would be visiting old friends because I know so much about your country and history - not too much about mine. I am so glad to see that Lost in Space and Irwin Allen are still big in your country. I know that Niolani was my all time favorite role, and Land of the Giants. etc. - what a great film maker he was and what a character. The Actors Reporter interview I just finished covers Irwin and Lost in Space quite a bit. Sadly, the interview is no longer available. It is in five parts and about one hour. You can also see my clips from my Marilyn Monroe picture which are on YouTube. Again best to all of you and hoping to see you in person one day!!

Yours always,

NIOLANI
