Diving Bell Filming Miniature

"Apple One" Diving Bell Filming Miniature from Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea (ABC TV, 1964-1968). Vintage original model miniature diving bell constructed of cast metal and repurposed existing components assembled and highly detailed with light sconces, portals, grab-bar ladders, and rails, orb set on a conical base. Construction is expertly studio painted in yellow with a black base and central black stripe with white hand lettering, with "NIMR" on either side of the bell's door, measuring 6.75 x 7 in. Highly visible in multiple episodes of the underwater Sci-Fi series. Exhibits production use and age with paint chipping, oxidation with missing port windows and hatch door. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
