Collectible Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea cards produced by Funfax in 1994. Part of a larger collection of cards featuring several other TV shows. On the back of these cards, they are described as "An Educational Guide for Viewers".
The back of this card reads as follows: VOYAGE TO THE BOTTOM OF THE SEA aired 1964-1968. The movie it was named after was a serious espionage adventure thriller, but the television knock off became sillier than anyone intended. Admiral Nelson (Richard Basehart) and Capt. Crane (David Hedison) pit the Seaview crew against a bizarre collection of robot men, lobster-men, werewolves... even an evil clown. An Irwin Allen production. |
