TIME TUNNEL CARD GAME INSTRUCTIONS

OBJECT OF THE GAME: To win the most chips by skillful play of the cards.
PREPARATION: Each player is given 2 blue, 2 red and 5 yellow chips (yellow chips count as one, red chips count as 5 and blue chips count as 10). All the cards are shuffled and 4 cards are dealt to each player. The rest of the deck is placed on the table, face down, and becomes the draw deck. Player to the left of the dealer spins first.

THE CARDS: The deck is divided into 4 categories, (20th Century, The Future, Middle Ages and the Pre-Historic Era). Each category is numbered. The "Time Tunnel" cards are "wild" cards.

PLAYING THE GAME: The game is played in rounds. A round is completed after all players have had a chance to play a card. The first player spins the spinner. The spinner will point to the card category that must be played for that round. The first player must then play a card from his hand, face up on the table, that matches the card category spun. If the player does not have a card of that category in his hand, he must pick cards, one at a time, from the draw deck until he draws a card of the proper category. When he has drawn a card of the proper category he must place it face up on the table. All additional cards he picked remain in his hand. All players must go in turn, following the same procedure. The highest number card played during a round wins that round. The winner of a round receives one chip from each player and takes the lead for the next round. Each time the lead changes from one player to another, the spinner must be spun to determine the new category to be played in the new round. However, a player who keeps the lead, plays a card of any category from his hand and does not spin the spinner.

TIME TUNNEL CARDS are "wild" cards that can be played as the highest card of any category and, therefore, win the round. If two "Time Tunnel" cards are played in the same round, the first one played wins.

WHEN THE DRAW DECK IS USED UP: When there are no cards left in the draw deck and a category is played or spun, any player who does not have a card in that category in his hand passes, and must give one chip to the winner of that round. When a category is spun and none of the players has a card in that category, the spinner is respun until it points to a category that can be played.

ENDING THE GAME: Whenever a player gets rid of all the cards in his hand, the game is over and he collects as many chips from each player as they have cards left in their hands.

WINNING THE GAME: The player who has the most chips at the end of the game is the winner.
