The Cast: Dr. Tony Newman (James Darren), Dr. Doug Phillips (Robert Colbert), Lt. Gen. Heywood Kirk (Whit Bissell), Dr. Raymond
Swain (John Zaremba) and Dr. Ann MacGregor (Lee Meriwether).

The Time Tunnel is being demonstrated to a U.S. Senator who controls research funds. The untested machine fails to impress the Senator, and impetuous scientist Tony Newman jumps into it to prove it works. He lands on the deck of the Titanic, days before the famous tragedy. Meanwhile, at the lab, they discover the machine's one flaw: it cannot retrieve the subject. Back on the ship, Tony tries to convince the captain of the danger, but is thrown in the brig for his trouble. In order to save Tony, colleague Doug Phillips is sent back with proof. He takes an antique newspaper account of the disaster. The captain ignores it and the ship sinks. Tony and Doug get teleported to a new year, but not home.
