Set of Model Miniature Missiles and Launch Pad
Set of (3) Model Miniature Missiles and Launch Pad from City Beneath the Sea (Warner Bros. TV, 1971). Vintage original (3) miniature props including (2) missiles constructed of carved wood cone and embellishments, including flight fins and grooved rings around the body, expertly studio painted in red and white with stenciled "USA" on one side, and (1) launching pad hub constructed of wood and carved rigid foam, painted in industrial gray. The miniatures were used in the scenes when missiles are deployed by "Admiral Matthews" (Stuart Whitman) to deter a meteor hurtling toward earth. The missiles measure 24" x 3" x 3" and the launching pad, 13.25" round x 6" tall. Exhibiting age, production wear, paint loss, and some chipping to wooden fins. In vintage Good condition. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
