1985 Masudaya YM-3 Robot. 9.25x17.5x6.75" deep box contains 1/5-scale battery operated model which when assembled measures 16" tall. Produced by Masudaya in 1985 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the "Lost In Space" show. Model has flexible arms and talks with blinking lights on chest. Model also comes with instruction sheet/folder showing other models produced by Masudaya. A smaller 4.5" tall robot of this design was also produced by Masudaya which featured a wind-up mechanism that allowed the figure to roll on its wheels.
Sold at the Hakes auction #192 for $151.80 (incl. buyer's premium) on 27th September 2007.
