Jonathan Harris "Dr. Smith" Magic Pendant "Amuler" Used in Lost in Space (CBS TV, 1965-1968). Vintage original prop intricately designed pendant with chain constructed from metal components with internal electronic wiring. The center of the pendant has a purple and white painted eye design. In the classic science fiction television series Lost in Space, actor Jonathan Harris played the iconic character of Dr. Zachary Smith, a devious and scheming saboteur who often found himself at odds with the rest of the Robinson family. This prop was used in season 2 episode 22 of "The Cave of the Wizards" which aired on Feb 22, 1967. The "Robot" describes the "Amuler" of the Draconians as an alien symbol of royalty, and naturally piques Smith's greed-driven interest. This leaves Will Robinson (Mumy) no choice but to intervene and try to save his egotistical friend. The prop measures 6" x 1.75" with a 30" gold polished chain. Includes a typed letter signed by Jonathan Harris describing the prop he once wore. Exhibits age, minor scuffing, scratches and production handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
