Screen Used Miniature Robot from The Mechanical Men
Screen Used Miniature B-9 Robot from Episode, "The Mechanical Men" of Lost in Space (Irwin Allen Productions, 1965-1968). Vintage original Remco produced "Robot" toy modified for use in scenes from the television classic Lost in Space. The toy was expertly repainted to resemble the beloved on screen robot, with the arm rod extensions shortened. This prop was used in the episode "The Mechanical Men", where an invasion of miniature robots resembling "Robot" terrorizes the Robinson family and "Dr. Smith". The "Robot" is one of science fiction's most iconic characters, with its primary mission, keeping the adventurous "Will Robinson" (Bill Mumy) safe. The prop measures 12.5" x 6" x 8". Exhibiting age, scratching to the plastic, toning and warping to the dome, missing claws and overall production handling. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
