Lost in Space - Season Two Robinson Family Stunt Laser Pistol Prop

An original stunt laser pistol prop as used by members of the Robinson family in the production of the second season of the television series Lost in Space (20th Century Fox Television, 1966-1967).

The laser pistol prop is composed of resin and fiberglass and features a hand-painted silver-tone finish, black painted trigger, applied faux red and green jewels at the back of the barrel, and an acrylic emitter at the end. The laser pistol features a spiral-like design with a metal rod connecting the emitter to the barrel/body of the prop.

This type of laser pistol prop can be seen at multiple points throughout the second season of the series, used by Dr. John Robinson (Guy Williams), Will Robinson (Bill Mumy), and Major Don West (Mark Goddard). The laser pistol prop can be seen wielded by both Major Don West and John Robinson in the episodes "The Ghost Planet," "Forbidden World," "West of Space," and others.
