Penny Robinson Season 2 Tunic

Lost in Space (CBS TV, 1965-1968), Angela Cartwright Signature "Penny Robinson" Jumper from Season 2. Vintage original short orange wool jumper with yellow woven piping down the front and back, matching ring collar, 2-waist slits with matching piping, orange satin lining, rear full-length zipper, and rear hook-and-eye closures, retaining internal 20th Century Fox bias label. Penny Robinson (Angela Cartwright) is seen wearing this style orange jumper in all 30 Season 2 episodes of the beloved sci-fi family show. Other than her Season 1 parka and spacesuit, this is the only other Penny Robinson costume known to have survived. The jumper reflects the simple yet futuristic and distinctively '60s look of the costume design for the series, and was worn over an orange long-sleeved shirt and orange pants to complete the ensemble. Exhibits signs of production wear and age, including stains to the front likely from makeup, some staining to the satin lining, and scattered moth holes. In 2023, Heritage Auctions sold a Bill Mumy "Will Robinson" Season 1 Lost in Space tunic for $200,000. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
