TV 21 Depiction of the Spindrift (Spendthrift)

'TV 21' was a British comic which featured Land of the Giants comic strip stories in 1969-70. The Land of the Giants comic strips first appeared in the 'Joe 90' comic in 1969 and were drawn by artist Gerry Haylock. There were 34 issues of 'Joe 90'. 'Joe 90' then merged with 'TV 21' in late 1969 to become 'TV 21 & Joe 90 New Series' and ran for 36 issues before reverting to the name 'TV 21' and later dropping the Land of the Giants comic strip after issue 54. The Land of the Giants comic strips were printed in colour until issue 31 of 'TV 21 & Joe 90 New Series' and then in black and white up to the final Land of the Giants story in 'TV 21' issue 54.
