Land of the Giants Fun Fax Card 94 Back

Collectible Land of the Giants cards produced by Funfax in 1994. Part of a larger collection of cards featuring several other TV shows. On the back of these cards, they are described as "An Educational Guide for Viewers".

The back of this card reads as follows:

LAND OF THE GIANTS aired from 1968 to 1970. Like many of Irwin Allen's productions, this idea wasn't exactly original. He borrowed the plot
(and props) from the movies "Dr. Cyclops" and "The Incredible Shrinking Man". The Spindrift crash lands on a continent where everything is 12 times normal size. Each week, the seven passengers and crew try to repair the ship without being caught or killed by giants.
