Aurora Space Age Countdown Store Sign

15-5/8x22.25" glossy cardboard store sign for "Space Age Countdown" contest that offered the winner $1,000. The contest was entered by explaining "Why Space Exploration Interests Me" in 25 words or less along w/the end flap from one of the six models shown - "'2001' Moon Bus, '2001' Space Clipper, 'Invaders' UFO, 'Land Of The Giants' Spaceship, 'Fantastic Voyage' Voyager" and an "American Astronaut" model kit. All images shown match box art for these models. Judging took place Dec. 24, 1969. Sign has lt. handling wear, w/3.25" crease at bottom center and some corner tip wear. Still displays VF. Superb and rare sign.
