Original Concept Artwork (3) of "Spindrift" Interiors from Land of the Giants (Irwin Allen Productions, 1968-1970). Vintage original concept art from The Land of the Giants in tempera, gouache, and graphite, measuring 15" x 20", indented to 14-¼" x 21" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 20" x 24" with transparent mylar overlay. The pre-production artwork depicts a prototype of the interior cockpit of "Spindrift." A second artwork in tempera, gouache, and graphite with indented varnish, measuring 17-½" x 25", indented to 14" x 17-¾" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 20" x 26" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. A third artwork of a prototype of the cockpit seat canopy in oil paint with varnish, measuring 12-¾" x 15-½", tipped to 2-ply artist board measuring 16-¼" x 20-½" on a mat measuring 17" x 21" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. Actual artwork reproduced on p. 309 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine, with mounting holes at the margins and paper lift at the lower edge; and Excellent. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
