Original Concept Artwork of "Spindrift" from Land of the Giants (Irwin Allen Productions, 1968-1970). Vintage original concept art from The Land of the Giants in oil paint with varnish, indented to 16-½" x 26", measuring 20" x 30" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 22-½" x 32-¼" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. The pre-production artwork depicts the "Spindrift" pilots pondering a forced landing atop a precipice. Actual artwork reproduced on p. 300 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine+, with a mounting hole at the right margin and a closed chip at the lower left. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
