Original Concept Artwork (2) of Pilots Steve Burton and Dan Erickson in the Cockpit of "Spindrift" from Land of the Giants (Irwin Allen Productions, 1968-1970). Vintage original concept art from The Land of the Giants of the pilots in the cockpit of "Spindrift" navigating space, in oil paint, tempera, and graphite with varnish, indented with masking to 17-½" x 26-½", measuring 20" x 30" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 22-½"x 32-¼" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. A second artwork of the identical scene in red-cast in oil paint, tempera, and gouache with light varnish, indented to 17-¾" x 28", measuring 20-½" x 30" on 4-ply artist board, glue tipped to a mat measuring 23" x 32-¼" and hinged with transparent mylar overlay. Actual artwork reproduced on pp. 299-300 of "The Fantasy Worlds of Irwin Allen" by Jeff Bond, Creature Features 2019. Fine+, with light scraping at the lower center; and Very Fine, with mounting holes at the margins. Comes with a COA from Heritage Auctions.
