The Time Tunnel is now available on DVD in two separate volumes in Region 1 (US NTSC) format. It is stocked by all major US stores including amazon.com and playusa.com.
The box set includes some fabulous extras, particularly the Irwin Allen home movies taken during the making of the pilot episode Rendezvous with Yesterday. What is particularly fascinating about the home movies is seeing Irwin Allen at work directing, planning, up in the crane, and many other special clips behind the scenes. It was also very touching to see much loved friends including Paul Zastupnevich and Elizabeth Emanuel amongst others behind the scenes as well as the cast.
Extras also include the unaired version of the pilot Rendezvous with Yesterday, promotional videos and announcements, special effects camera tests of the time tunnel, plus picture galleries of production and behind the scene photos, merchandise, and drawing board artwork.
