The new Land of the Giants complete collection DVD set for the UK (PAL, Region 2) was released on 5th March 2012. The box set contains both seasons, two booklets, and a new limited edition set of four collectible art cards.

Prominent Irwin Allen television guest, Warren Stevens, has sadly passed away at the age of 92 (27th March 2012). He guest starred in Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea, The Time Tunnel and Land of the Giants, as well as The Return of Captain Nemo.
